Under the new rules as just approved by the republicans of House Rules, a committee chair can simply never schedule a bill hearing if the chair doesnt personally like the bill. Lots of good bills may never be heard. This is not normal historically. Disappointing. #mtleg #mtpol
I'm presenting my bill that limits government use of facial recognition technology in MT (HB 577). I love a good privacy bill! Will updated after. #mtleg #mtpol #privacy
We are debating HB 320 on the floor now. This bill is bad for the future of our public lands. After hearing the debate, it would be disingenuous for a legislator to vote yes and then campaign as a public lands advocate. #mytwocents #mtleg #mtpol
1: MT republicans on Rules reject all proposed covid safety measures for the session. Instead they create a covid panel made of politicians w/ no oversight. As of today we head to in-person session on Jan 4 w/o covid safety measures in place. #mtleg #mtpol
I am bringing a "right to repair" bill for ag equipment. This bill will help farmers access the tools they need to fix their equipment in a pinch. Excited to work on a bill that helps Montana's farmers! https://t.co/aqC5YL7GkY

Two important bills in Bus and Labor today: 1) Anti-union HB 168 and 2) Covid liability immunity SB 65. HB 168 goes well beyond Janus. As for SB 65 I think our laws already protect businesses and 65 goes too far. Ill provide an update later #mtpol #mtleg
