Moving on to @IAGovernor statement on education. “Record investment in k-12 education” Not to mention the investment is not keeping up with costs of operation. She announced 2.5% SSA. Schools need 3% minimum to break even. The R’s are out to starve public Ed.

Sometimes the truth hurts. I count 15 of the 59 Republicans in the chamber listening to our argument that we should expand voting rather than make it more difficult. We want to make it easy to vote and difficult to cheat. Clearly the Republicans don’t want to hear it.
