Thank you for honoring me with re-election with > 86%! Thank you to all our neighbors who volunteered to help keep Rep Kim Schrier in US House Dist. 8, to help win seat in 3rd District, and everyone who worked for Senator Murray to be re-elected. At Eckstein Middle School today with our striking educators. 34 and 35 students in science and English classes is NOT ok. A single school social worker in a time of dire need - who is half paid for by parents' fundraising and not the State and School District. That's not ok. https://t.co/yAdjEIajaV
I'm honored to have just been endorsed by the 46th District Democrats to continue serving our community and state. Thank you to all who participated in the endorsement meeting.
Thank you to all my constituents for your support. I'm honored to have nearly 84% of your votes in the first returns in the Primary tonight. I also want to thank you for your support for my seatmate Rep Javier Valdez moving into the Senate.

@typewriteralley @WashingtonCOG Unfortunately, I've had to intervene repeatedly on behalf of open meetings and disclosure of public records by state agencies as a legislator who is a champion of open government and attorney who serves on the WA Coalition for Open Government board.
Climate change in Growth Management Act plans (HB 1099) dying tonight because Republicans threat to each speak for 3 minutes against it, and we have only a little more than one hour before Legislative Session ends. We can't wait!
Hanford's High Level Nuclear Waste tank B-109 has leaked much more waste, far longer, than Hanford USDOE reported. WA needs to enforce laws requiring leaking tank to be emptied asap. Our Congressional delegation needs to require this in budget. Click link prior tweet.
HB 1439 passed in 2018 bars for-profit colleges from doing what Corinthian did: selling students the company's own student loans. Interest rates were as high as 16%. A worthless degree + huge debt = lifetime of struggle.
