Gov. Baker must have run out of ideas on how to improve the commonwealth. He wants to cut $900 million ($200m of which goes to transit) with a 2-month sales tax holiday. That money could fund a lot of good things we’ve always been told are too expensive. #Bakeroutofideas #mapoli
It's pretty clear Governor Baker lacks both experience and empathy when he says in-person school is better - no matter what the situation. 🧵
Instead of Charlie Baker increasing fines on people trying to cool off in the water during the hottest summer on record, how about he use some of the $900 million he wants to give away in tax revenue to hire more lifeguards, open more swimming areas and provide free swim lessons? https://t.co/vjHjKq4wdu

The legislature should #CancelMCAS this year. It makes no sense to test kids who haven't been in the classroom, have learning loss, or have diff resources at home. It makes no sense for limited learning time to be devoted to testing & test prep or to judge schools on the results.

We are trying our best to help, but website is confusing and ineffective. #mapoli https://t.co/XbIQoCpnvW
