HB 2001 passed the #ksleg House 78-40. I voted No. This bill is unconstitutional and places an unreasonable burden on Kansas businesses, which is why it's also opposed by the Kansas Chamber of Commerce and NFIB. I'll continue to oppose the legislation as the session continues.

The Kansas economy is roaring back! Since Governor Kelly took office, more than $6 billion new business dollars have been invested in the state of Kansas and 26,000 new jobs have been created. #ksleg

May 17 is an important day in Kansan and American history. 66 years ago today, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that school segregation and the notion of "separate but equal" was unconstitutional. #ksleg #ksed https://t.co/vcTCncqVhw
