Gov. Walz has called us back for another special session to once again extend his emergency powers. We've asked, but he still won't provide any benchmarks that would cause him to give up his powers and begin working with the legislature again. #mnleg https://t.co/uzYvxyaGxa

Gov. Walz wants Greater Minnesota to foot the bill to rebuild Minneapolis after the riots, to the tune of $150 million. #mnleg Greater MN should not be on the hook for those riots; I will not support bailing them out. Here’s why: https://t.co/AlOw3w2r8X
In the governor's Stay At Home order, he said people should still get outside and exercise as long as they practice social distancing. That makes golf a perfect activity right now! We sent Gov. Walz a letter asking him to let golf courses stay open throughout his order. #mnleg https://t.co/Vr45Jj2G1S
Today I chatted with Torey from Torey's Restaurant & Bar in Owatonna about the extreme restrictions Governor Tim Walz placed on bars and restaurants and other local businesses. The short, unsurprising recap: the gov's plan won't help one bit. Listen for yourself: #mnleg https://t.co/0DOI6z5uSY
There's no science behind which businesses get to stay open and which can't. If Walmart and Lowes can open, so can mom and pop shops in places like Faribault, Owatonna, and Waseca. In fact, the smaller shops can probably do it even safer! We NEED to open Minnesota back up! #mnleg https://t.co/8bSqgbZl5u

Today I voted -- for the 4th time -- to end the governor's emergency powers. Local businesses are still suffering. Every single day I hear from more and more people telling me the governor is destroying rural communities. #mnleg https://t.co/fTDVXL3hM9
Today we passed a bill that would allow businesses to reopen safely, following MDH and CDC guidelines. We have worked well with the gov to protect the public's health during this pandemic, now we are asking him to work with us to save these businesses. https://t.co/v47dYCNQ1e
Yesterday I voted to end the governor's emergency powers. Every single day I hear from more and more people telling me the governor is destroying rural communities. It's time for him to begin working in good faith with the legislature. #mnleg #faribault #owatonna #waseca https://t.co/rSsA12VT3d
Gov. Walz's latest restrictions are just crazy... allowing outdoor dining (at only 25% capacity, no less!) in December is just not the least bit helpful. We need to get these hospitality businesses back open safely. They just aren't going to make it otherwise. https://t.co/oIsUmP1JCr
