My good friend @RepLanceHarris gave a truly funny and entertaining farewell speech on the House floor yesterday. It reminded me of some really good times and even had @tegbridges smiling. Well done my friend. We will miss you in the legislature.

@tegbridges @NOLAnews One of my very best friends in the legislature and an important part of the success of the <U+201C>fiscal hawks<U+201D> back in the day. I will truly miss having him around.
@NelsonforLA @JulieEmerson @rightwave Hope she didn<U+2019>t do any landscaping.
@TweettheSouth @JSODonoghue @LouisianaGov We did that, sir. I was just jabbing at you since you were jabbing at us. If you really want to know what happened, I<U+2019>d be glad to share with you one day.
@JSODonoghue @MelindaDeslatte @jadelson @cowboyinbrla @rjamesfinn @LAFreedomCaucus @RepClayHiggins Julie, you<U+2019>re funny. To be perfectly clear, we did wear hawk pins. I may dust mine off next week.
@GregHilburn1 Well, we are glad you visited us today. Build that bridge! #NoToll.
@TweettheSouth @JSODonoghue @LouisianaGov Yessir. We did think we had 36. At one point we thought we had 46. We lost. We admit it. But we would fight that same fight again tomorrow.
@JulieEmerson This was a fantastic idea!
@jmollerLBP @BlakeMiguezLA I think what @BlakeMiguezLA was suggesting was the payment of debt with that same $1B would have freed up a significant amount of money over that period of time during the recession etc.
@TweettheSouth And a good dose of Strait, Tritt, Hank Jr, and maybe some Scaggs.
