An update about NM income taxes, we were able to find a creative solution to the interest problem. You can now file your NM taxes by July 15, and have no penalty for interest. We'll take whatever good news we can get right now! The official announcement is below. Be safe!
I wanted to make sure you know. Both NM & Feds are delaying the date to file and pay taxes to July 15. When the Feds delayed, I reached out to NM Tax Secretary Stephanie Schardin Clarke, to advocate for a NM tax delay, and she arranged it. Thank you, Stephanie!
