As a mother of two school-aged children, I’m beyond eager for the day when my kids will be able to see their teachers' faces again. But today’s decision by Governor Baker and DESE to lift the school mask mandate does not reflect the reality of our situation. (1/4) https://t.co/6Bc8Bh1r0P

Less than 40% of students in MA earn their first degree or certificate within 6 years of enrolling in a community college. Instead, they end their studies & take on debt without a degree to help pay it off. It's time for our state to start investing in public higher ed again.
For all these reasons & more, I'm proud to be on #TeamWarren! Join me at English High School, 144 McBride St at 4:45 p.m. to cast your vote for our next president, @EWarren. #MAForWarren https://t.co/FiYAULzAAe https://t.co/jzKNiEPTAj
Sad to say @MassGovernor FY21 budget does not follow letter or spirit of #StudentOpportunityAct, which requires equitable implementation of the 4 #FBRC recs. In his budget 3 of 4 recs are phased in 14%. The 4th, the low-income rec, is phased in at 4%. #mapoli My full statement: https://t.co/ZOQAlcLdwx
In a state as wealthy as Massachusetts, there's only one reason we keep leaving children and families behind. Political will. My administration will establish universal, high-quality, affordable early education and childcare for every family. https://t.co/gP52K7UHSF
