I’m glad former President Trump is unharmed and grateful to the Secret Service for their vigilance. While there’s still much we don’t know as law enforcement conducts its investigation, we do know one thing: Political violence of any kind has no place in America.

From keeping farmland in American hands to protecting U.S. jobs, we must stand up to China undermining our economy. We took a good step last week voting to limit China's access to EV tax credits meant to boost U.S. firms, as I suggested earlier this year. https://t.co/Iv7iYaRn0l
My statement today alongside the rest of Maine’s Congressional Delegation: One year ago, the unthinkable happened in Lewiston when a gunman opened fire at a bowling alley and restaurant — shaking the community and Maine to its core. 1/4
I had great conversations last night at @mainelobstermen's 70th anniversary event. This fishery is world-renowned thanks to lobstermen's hard work, resiliency, stewardship & leadership. I've been proud to stand w/ them to defend ME's lobstering tradition for future generations. https://t.co/nAY7crcISi
Fixing Maine’s shortage of health care workers requires making their pay and benefits more competitive. I support Maine’s nurses as they negotiate for a better contract. https://t.co/MWViqqrilX
Voting ‘yes’ on this stopgap funding bill was the right call to keep the government open and avoid the chaos of a shutdown. But that is the bare minimum of Congress’ responsibility. 1/2
Maine should be proud of our rich forest products heritage. The Maine Forest and Logging Museum helps us celebrate our history and look ahead to the future. I’m happy to support their mission however I can. https://t.co/K0CSjSeyYe
Today marks 3 years since Congress passed the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. To date, Maine has already received $2.6 billion to invest in making our roads safer, our water cleaner, and our communities more connected all over the state — and we’re not done yet. https://t.co/uUU0p8zPIt
On National Lobster Day, we celebrate the fishery that has provided a living to generations of families — and the hardworking Mainers who sustain this key industry. Here's to preserving a rich Maine tradition for generations to come. https://t.co/l0ZABHlyYf
When the House returns to pass the full budget, lawmakers should skip the brinkmanship and embrace the only approach that has worked for the past two years: a bipartisan agreement based on the Fiscal Responsibility Act’s spending levels that have already been signed into law. 2/2
