If your consultant is peddling more TV ads as a winning strategy, fire them. We overcame a deficit because we shifted resources to turnout, away from broadcast. There was considerable evidence that TV was not providing the historical ROI. https://t.co/2fYh9klWc9 #ksleg

All of this to say, additional TV ad creatives were not the answer as is claimed in the piece. Allocating resources elsewhere may have been the answer. Allocating TV into different markets. But not another ad creative. Incidentally, we had three. One was market-specific. #ksleg https://t.co/rME5JwSBfn

We also moved to ConnectedTV and OTT when we saw deficits in age groups we had targeted for turnout. But mostly, we moved to turnout messages when we saw that they botched their Name ID campaign by hammering broadcast and cable in the most expensive market in the state. #ksleg
