Six troopers have resigned or retired so far this month (15 days). Five graduated the 24 week academy that occurs up to twice a year. This is an unsustainable rate of decline. You and your family are less safe with every day that passes with a governor that remains silent. #ksleg https://t.co/kNNeSasJba

The Republican Legislature released priorities for the 2023 session, including support of our state troopers and a commitment to full staffing and competent management. #ksleg #BackTheBlue https://t.co/NGK1Z04Qob
RT @TextronAviation: We're proud to announce @KSU_Salina has ordered 10 @Cessna Skyhawk piston aircraft, which will expand their fleet of S<U+2026>
The Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy is in Salina. We worked for years on recruitment & retention to address a Trooper shortage across the state. From cancelled academy classes, to the largest class in history. All of that work has been undone by this administration. #ksleg
Montana, 1/3 the population. Twice the troopers graduating. Tennessee just over twice the population, seven times the troopers graduating. Missouri, twice the population, five times the graduates. Again, no massive gap in coverage to fill. KHP is toxic. Leadership must go. #ksleg
Our ground game is better than their ground game. #LeadRight #NE02 https://t.co/tUJ9jC5Xee
We've reached the point where Laura Kelly's supporters in the media need pop adjusted numbers. Nebraska is a state 2/3 the population of Kansas. Their last trooper class was 3 times the size of Kansas and they don't have a deficit of 100 resignations to backfill. #ksleg

Brave state troopers have come forward to blow the whistle on KHP leadership. They risk aggressive retaliation because they care more about the safety of Kansans than the security of their jobs. Troopers deserve better from this administration. https://t.co/k9z7ZM80n4 #ksleg
We could settle this once and for all and simply ask the troopers who they credit for pay raises and fleet updates. Not the guys at the top being sued by seemingly every female on the payroll, ask troopers and capitol police. Go ahead journos, see what they have to say. #ksleg https://t.co/6RFO0VCr0c
