I have signed onto the #LetThemPlayCA resolution. We need our kids off the bench and back in the game. #CALeg https://t.co/9nbRQxGB1J

CA’s homeless population shot up nearly 7% between Jan. 2019 & Jan. 2020. I’ve said it before & I will say it again: throwing money at the problem is not working. We need compassionate reform that doesn’t allow our fellow Californians to be left without shelter on the street.

The State of California spent $13 billion on homelessness over the past 3 years. The result? Homelessness shot up 23% while the national increase was only 5%. #Unacceptable #CADeservesBetter https://t.co/0kHqHaXiXg

Despite spending billions and billions on homelessness, the crisis continues to worsen. Homelessness is up: 67% in Sacramento 18% in Hollywood, Skid Row, and Venice 10% in San Diego We need a new approach that balances accountability, compassion, and treatment. #FixCalifornia

Let's stop playing politics w/ people's lives and pocketbooks! I hope my Democrat colleagues in #caleg support our call for an audit of how CA spends your tax $'s on homelessness. @SenateRepCaucus @CASenateDems https://t.co/hLQllxHA99 #CADeservesBetter #MakeCaliforniaGoldenAgain

Californians have lost trust in their government, which is why they are resisting the stay-at-home order. The recent order lacks scientific evidence and Californians won't be fooled. Gov.@GavinNewsom please start following the data and perhaps the public's trust can be regained.

California has at least 170,745 homeless individuals. This is a public health and safety crisis. I<U+2019>ve introduced Senate Bill 31 to compassionately clear encampments near schools, parks, libraries, and day-care centers. #FixCalifornia https://t.co/NnRlzCJxXE

In downtown San Diego, there are porta potties for the homeless. Do you think this is helpful or making the problem worse? At least they won<U+2019>t be going to the bathroom on the street but this could be encouraging people to STAY on the street rather than seek help. #FixCalifornia https://t.co/mMfPouFxDR

Gov. Newsom 2018 campaign promise: appoint a state homelessness secretary and expand homeless services. “We’ve been ‘managing’ this problem[homelessness] for too long; it’s time to solve it.“ Since then homelessness in CA has exploded, up 23% statewide. #CADeservesBetter

I refuse to support Democrat politicians<U+2019> notion that<U+2019>s it<U+2019>s compassionate to let people linger their life away on the sidewalk. I saw this homeless person curled up on the sidewalk, left there to rot away. How is this compassionate??? Truly heartbreaking. #FixCalifornia https://t.co/NcXSOwtO4D
