Wanted to take a moment, tired like everyone navigating this mess, and thank everyone for their patience. We are close to returning to some semblance of normal. Fuel is starting to get to retail locations and power is going to be restored in the coming days. God Bless Florida.
Fuel is becoming more available! We are getting close, please stay patient. Thank you to all of our lineman, law enforcement, and petroleum distributors! God Bless Florida
At least 3.9 million gallons of fuel was delivered yesterday in the state, approximately 460ish loads. Already delivered just over a million gallons as of 8 AM today. That’s 45% more than we did on Friday and about 25% more than a normal Saturday.
Simply awesome! As of this morning, nearly 99% of Tampa Electric customers had power and 99% of customers impacted by the storm had their service restored. For ALL remaining outages, work will continue 24/7 until every customer’s power is restored. Great work @TECOEnergy !!
Power is being restored in eastern Hillsborough County. Please continue to be patient, we are almost there. Thank you @TampaElectric for all of your hard work.
Update on Port of Tampa Fuel Contamination Below is a list of gas stations impacted by the Port of Tampa fuel contamination. The contamination impacted only gas stations supplied by CITGO. The Tampa Bay region has sufficient, uncontaminated fuel supply for the approaching storm.
Another @TampaElectric 119,000 customers energized overnight! Saturday morning we had 420,000 customers without power. Yesterday morning we reduced the outage count to 295,000. This morning it is down to 177,000 or so. God Bless Florida
