Joe Biden's orders to restrict domestic energy production have made us more dependent on foreign oil, raised fuel prices and contributed to inflation. We need to change these policies, create more energy at home and discontinue importing oil from Russia.
Rising gas prices are a painful reminder of how important it is for the United States to be more energy independent. I support Ukraine and believe we should stop importing Russian oil. This can (and should be) offset by creating more energy at home.
Gas prices have hit another record high, with the average price per gallon reaching $4.52. The impact that this is having on families across our country is real. We need more energy independence.

@aj110557 I agree with all of that. Congress should focus on inflation, energy independence, national security, and other critical issues. They need to set priorities. But that doesn't preclude them from addressing other topics while they are in session.
@MyRoosterWisdom False. We have a long list of accomplishments in NC and we are taking the feds to task. Read the resolution. It calls for Congress to end the FSIA. We are also calling on the Biden Admin to increase domestic energy production to decrease our dependence on foreign countries.
