3/3 When we talk about sustainable power generation, we must weigh ALL the options. It's unclear to me that any *perfect* source of energy exists. The reality is that it will take a mix of many imperfect sources to achieve a better outcome.

2/ For comparison, look at what the Grand Coulee Dam did for the Pacific Northwest. Like nuclear, hydropower comes with environmental tradeoffs. But, in this instance, it did lead to a significant source of affordable energy and irrigation water, revolutionizing the region.
