Today, we celebrate Labor Day which pays tribute to the contributions & achievements of American workers. With deep ties to the manufacturing & railroad industries - sectors in our society which we depended upon in the late 1800s - labor unions grew more prominent and vocal. /1
@ldossett Such wonderful news! With a Master’s degree in social work, my salary hardly pays my mortgage, so I’ve been grateful for the #PSLF opp. Sadly tho, the organization representing our profession @nasw hasn’t been recognized as a qualifying employer. That must change!
