My bill SB349, which allows for Nevadans to engage in neighborhood composting at designated sites, has passed out of the Senate. Thank you to @MelanieScheible for co-sponsoring it! I’m proud to celebrate every step Nevada takes towards sustainability. #nvleg

Yesterday was the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. How did you spend it? I'm making the pledge to remember that Earth Day is everyday by addressing climate change, fighting to protect our wild spaces and working to ensure access to clean water for everyone. https://t.co/bV8a7av2MM

Congratulations @AaronDFordNV and his deputies at the Attorney General's office, who fought so hard to finally reach a settlement with the federal government to get the plutonium out of Nevada and keep it out. Thank you for your dedication! https://t.co/hXHbDHEjTe

SB 349 makes it easier for people to send kitchen food scraps to a central composting site where scraps are turned into fertilizer for farmers and urban gardens. SB 349 will divert kitchen food scraps from ending up in landfills and will help the environment. #nvleg
