In 1962, Saskatchewan enacted universal healthcare. Within 10 years, it had been expanded nationwide throughout Canada. New York is on the verge of passing single payer and becoming the Saskatchewan of America. We MUST #PassNYHealth before the legislative session ends on 6/10

Me: NY has a bill to enact single payer healthcare, with majority support in both houses, which could catalyze a domino effect leading to universal healthcare nationwide. We have until 6/10 to pass it, and it's being kept from coming to a vote. You: Senator, this is a Wendy's.

There are many paths to single payer health care. One path is passing it in NY, showing that it works, and expanding it nationwide. The New York Health Act has a majority of co-sponsors in both the Senate and Assembly and we should vote on it before session ends on June 10.
If a bill is co-sponsored by a majority of legislators, it should come to a vote. Simple. 2 days left to #PassNYHealth
