Minnesota is at a crossroads. Governor Walz will decide if churches and small businesses are open or remain closed. Will Shelter in place be lifted or not?Curve is flattened, it's time.

I say that we should shelter seniors and open up the state to the rest of us, using CDC safe practices. Why do folks immediately say more people are going to die? The U of M modeling data confirms that what I am proposing produces the same outcomes and saves our jobs.
Instead of safer communities with more police to help, and significant tax relief, like getting rid of the tax on social security, as democrats campaigned on, we get neither. There was no middle ground sought on these divisive issues. They jammed us. https://t.co/bH4ZZOx02W
The loss of life is always heart wrenching and I’m praying for all those impacted by the loss yesterday. We need to gather all the facts before a judgement can be made after yesterday’s tragic events. May God show us all how to heal in a way that reconciles our communities.
Using the Governors own data, mandating a stay-at-home order for the most vulnerable (e.g. elderly, those with preexisting conditions, etc.) has the same mortality rate and ICU demand as a stay-at-home order for everyone. Its time to begin safely reopening our state. #mnleg https://t.co/X3nDU9uKfp
Please take this hotline down @GovTimWalz. It's not necessary and it's not how Minnesotans want to treat each other. We can all show a bit of kindness to our neighbors as we manage our times and needs differently in the stay at home efforts. https://t.co/ljYttFaF9m #mnelg
Yesterday was a good first step. I hope Walz cooperates w/ churches, houses of worship to safely reopen soon. Churches long to gather, they provide support to their communities both spiritually and meeting our needs through service.
I share the Governors concerns about the safety and well-being of all Minnesotans. I also have grave concerns about his statewide Stay-at-Home order, and the consequences for families when their jobs and businesses that provide their livelihood are lost #mnleg @GovTimWalz
Great weekend weather coming up and outdoor activities have low risk for covid transmission. We should open all outdoor campgrounds for all campers or RVs. Keep public facilities closed, and encourage people to keep to their own families. #mnleg
1/ A budget that increases taxes is not a Minnesota priority. We can recover by vaccinating people as fast as possible, safely reopening, and getting kids back in the classroom.
