Despite the devastating toll of COVID-19, heart disease remains the #1 health threat for women. I’m wearing red on #WearRedDay to raise awareness and encourage women of all ages to take charge of their heart health. Join me and @AmericanHeartMA in the fight against heart disease. https://t.co/YUxKH6yNmQ
This week #SCOTUS struck down a Louisiana law designed to cut off abortion access. While this is a victory, the fight for access to reproductive healthcare continues. It's time to pass the ROE Act in MA to protect these critical services. @PPAdvocacyMA @ACLU_Mass @ProChoiceMass https://t.co/E3QEafwqhN
On July 16, 988 will become the nation-wide dialing code for crisis and suicide prevention. Much like 911 for emergency response, calling 988 will deliver a range of crisis care services. It will replace the current 1-800 number used by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Beginning today, I am excited to welcome the public back into the State House. In response to ongoing public health concerns, individuals 5 or older will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test. Masks must also be worn in common spaces. Welcome back!
I have been proudly fighting to reduce barriers to reproductive healthcare here in MA for over 20 years. I was proud to support Amendment #759 in the budget which took one more step in scaling back medically unnecessary barriers to abortion. https://t.co/781efICvam
