As equipment and personnel are released from other fires across CA, dozens of additional engines are now on the way to the fires in Lake, Sonoma and Napa Counties. Arrival should be happening tonight and over the next few days. More details to come.
Thinking about those who are fleeing the #CaldorFire tonight. The North Coast has been through so much over the past 6 years with wildfire. We know what our neighbors are feeling this evening and our hearts are with them and all of the firefighters who are giving it their all.
The #OakFire north of Willits/Brooktrails in Mendocino County should be considered dangerous. The blaze has a high rate of spread. Air attack will continue. If you receive an evacuation order, please go quickly and calmly. Neighbors near the fire should have go-bags at the ready.
Seeing the devastation tonight in #Colorado hits so close to home for so many here on the North Coast. Hundreds of homes & businesses were lost today to wildfires that were driven by historic winds. Our hearts are with all of the residents impacted by these horrific fires.
