Over the past few days I’ve visited several parts of western NC that have been severely impacted by hurricane damage. The needs are incredible, but these communities are coming together. We must do more at the state level to help them. Tomorrow, the legislature will convene to discuss NC’s recovery and rebuilding efforts. #ncpol #HurricaneHelene

Nothing quite like someone sinking the ship and then offering swimming lessons. Nearly a decade later, families are still living in hotels in eastern NC because of Cooper’s failures in hurricane recovery.
