I<U+2019>m proud to join with my NYS Assembly colleagues in calling for NYS to divest from Russian state-owned companies and assets. New York is home to the largest population of Ukrainians in the United States and we stand the Ukrainian people both here and abroad. https://t.co/XP2I17vcN9

Mr. Ferencz, a resident of New Rochelle for over six decades was Chief Prosecutor for the United States in The Einsatzgruppen Case - one of the subsequent Nuremberg trials - and continues through today with his advocacy for international law and global peace. (2/3)

I'm in Israel with the families of the hostages – the International @RedCross has so far refused to demand to go in and check on the hostages. There are hostages without their medications and many are in poor health. @ICRC where are you? You must check on the hostages!

@EFischberger @RepBowman I checked with two people on the same trip and this didn't happen. He traveled with a delegation of American Congressmen.

I stand firmly behind Israel. The actions of Hamas are intolerable - Israel must defend itself and prevail.

Most recently, Mr. Ferencz has voiced his support for Ukraine and joined with others in advocating for the creation of a special tribunal for the punishment of the crime of aggressions against that nation. I extend congratulations and great appreciation to Mr. Ferencz. (3/3)

I would also like to recognize the recent tragedy in #Israel, leaving 45 dead and over 100 injured. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the larger community during this difficult time. Baruch dayan emet.(2/2)
