ERCOT announced the end of mandatory blackouts and providers are working to reconnect power. There may still be blackouts but if you're without power notify your provider. Call 911 for emergencies or 211 for local resources.
This weather has been disastrous for the Valley and all of Texas. Next week, I and my colleagues on the Energy Resources and State Affairs Committees will hold a hearing to review ERCOT and the blackouts. I look forward to asking questions and finding solutions for all Texans. https://t.co/mAsLMpE9Rh
Since 9 AM, my colleagues and I have spent the last 15 hours questioning the energy industry about the previous week. From retail electric companies to ERCOT to our local providers, we must do better to ensure that our communities never face this situation again.
No power at home since early this morning, but grateful to be with family. Stay bundled and safe. #txledge
This morning I met with my colleagues on the House Energy Resources Committee. We continued with more invited testimony after last week's 26+ marathon hearing. I look forward to working in this committee to make sure that Texans and our energy sector are better prepared. https://t.co/3xSkJnO8pK

I had a great time in Midland touring Fasken Oil and Gas with other members of the Energy Resources Committee. It was an informative visit that will help prepare us for our committee hearing tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who helped put this together! #txlege #energyresources https://t.co/V9ZgSEaGtt
