So the governors best response to 7700 March unemployment claims still pending is to make people from far flung districts, without money for food and diapers, much less gas, to make a 3+ hour trip to Frankfort to maybe get helped? Unreal.

Just want to give a shout out to an unnamed staffer at the @KyEdWorkforce Cabinet, working on unemployment claims even now as I tweet. They are literally the only one in the cabinet whos ever communicated with me since this began they are a hero to many Kentuckians in need.

The state unemployment office is still woefully, inexplicably behind. Just got an email from a constituent who is now buying groceries and gas on credit cards and has no idea how to pay bills in June. She first applied in March. Unbelievable.
