I<U+2019>m pleased to introduce legislation today which would extend postpartum coverage for eligible women from 2 to 12 months. Healthy moms = healthy babies. If we care about babies, we must show that we care for and value their moms who are the primary caregivers.

@AmyJoanNorth This bill has nothing to do with paid leave. It provides healthcare to women after they<U+2019>ve had a baby to 12 months. 90% of which is paid by the federal government.
