PGE, Pacific Power, and Portland Water customers will not be receiving service shutoffs until further notice. Thank you, utilities, for centering people most impacted by the potential economic consequences of COVID-19. #orpol #orleg https://t.co/Y2QqUHNGiW

I'm honored to carry Oregon's Energy Affordability Act on the #orleg floor and provide help to low-income and cost-burdened Oregonians struggling with utility bills. More seats at the table for enviro justice is also 👍 🙌 policy. Extra thx to my family supporting at home. 🥰 https://t.co/UzdaHEaLHD

Hey folks, unfortunately some power outages are occurring in our district and across the Metro area. Charge your devices and make a plan to find a cooling center, if you need one. Remember to call 211 and they can direct you to your closest location. https://t.co/AZMpqQbiYs

As of noon, more than 200,000 Oregonians are w/o power. PGE has over 3,000 wires down and 17 substations offline. 100s of utility workers are working around the clock, w/ 100s more coming in from other states to assist over the next 24 hours. More resources below: 👇 https://t.co/YwG5PNNJ3X

@Land_Line_Mag @LLstatesman @OregonGovBrown @OregonDOT Hello, HB 3305 is not a prohibition on diesel. It is being introduced by a company in my district to phase-in different types of diesel fuel, not ban diesel altogether. (It will blend petroleum diesel.) It also does not apply to off-road diesel used by agriculture.

@ShephardErika Hi there, I introduced this bill on behalf of a locally-owned trucking company in Oregon. They are seeking to phase out petroleum-based diesel and have those sales replaced it with renewable diesel, which can be used the same as petroleum-based diesel in all diesel engines.

@ShephardErika Reporting on it has made it sound like it's a complete ban, unfortunately. The bill is intended to hasten the adoption of renewable diesel, particularly a kind that is a full replacement for petroleum diesel.
