Big wins in the Texas House at 4:00AM! We passed 3 border security bills and 1 anti-COVID vaccine bill! Had the issue of COVID-19 vaccines not been used in political debate by one side that must have its way, it would have been inconceivable for government to tell employers that they may not require a shot as a condition of employment. However, during the pandemic, employers across the nation followed the government’s lead, using the government’s stated scientific justifications as cover, despite much of that science being wrong. SB 7 is a response to the unjustified imposition the government placed on employers.
