Some Dripping Springs ISD school board members are considering removing “gender identity and sexual orientation” as a protected class from DSISD policies, a decision we should support. Given the extensive protections against discrimination already provided by the Constitution and federal law, there is no need for this additional protected class. Please click here for information on how to support conservative DSISD board members in this effort and info on early voting starting Monday:

🚨 BIG WIN for Texas! 🚨 During the 88th Legislative Session, I successfully secured a budget rider in the Texas Budget that defunded DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in higher education. Today, Governor Greg Abbott took it even further by issuing Executive Order GA-55, which bans DEI across all state agencies! This is a major step in ensuring merit-based policies and equal treatment under the law, as promised in both the Texas and U.S. Constitutions. DEI programs have too often been used to divide rather than unite, and Texas is leading the way in rejecting race-based policies. Thank you, @GregAbbott_TX , for taking this bold action to protect fairness, equality, and opportunity for ALL Texans! 🇺🇸 #txlege #Texas #NoDEI #EqualOpportunity #ConservativeLeadership

The recent significant alterations to Title IX by the Biden Administration to expand the definition of "sex" to include "gender identity" poses important questions about the future of gender-specific activities and facilities, such as sports, scholarships, restrooms, and changing rooms. This change directly contradicts Texas state law defending female athletes! It is time we stand up for the young women in our country and defend them from the reckless Biden Administration. #TEA #TitleIX #SaveWomensSports
