Earlier today, Governor Beshear released several plans for the upcoming budget. I appreciate being part of this discussion and thrilled to see efforts to make historic investments in education, from fully funding Pre-K to allocating more funding for higher education.

However, it now goes to the House where hopefully they will give the districts the flexibility, in the event of an outbreak at a particular school, to issue NTI for that school and those days not count against the entire school districts days
