@JSPeterson65 You may be right. We will simply disagree that reducing domestic production hurts our country when it comes to energy independence. I believe it does... relying on foreign production hinders our economy and we are all paying for it. And I might be wrong, maybe it isn't happening.

@JSPeterson65 @SenKevinCramer @SenJohnThune If you know the rationale, I would appreciate the information. If it was an economic decision that didn't negatively impact our country, then so be it. We were energy independent until almost two years ago.
