Many wanted NIL. Now they have it. The next outrage will happen when a great number don’t think they’re being paid enough, or realize they won’t be paid at all. You know it’s a sketchy idea, when the “solution” leads to more problems. (And it will.)

Talking with Todd and Zach tonight about transfers... starting to think taking lower level transfers who want to move up might be less of a risk than taking one from a perceived higher level. Someone who wants to be there makes more sense than someone who’s settling.

Two things that can close the gap from a 0-star to a 5-star... Effort and Smarts. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

Hope everyone was able to celebrate Labor Day with those they enjoy spending time with. Pay no attention to the few who think only certain people can comment on the holiday. We live in a region that values hard work and it<U+2019>s contribution to a healthy society.

The transfer portal is what many wanted. Guessing coaching staffs have at least one staff member plugged into it. Thinking that 75%, or higher, have a good reason to avoid them. Take it for what it<U+2019>s worth. Choose battles wisely.

@FarmRahn I believe that usually happens. Have done some coaching myself. Most do it for the right reasons and the right way. Like all professions, a few tend to tarnish it for the rest.
