I've asked the House State Affairs and Energy Resources Committees to convene a joint hearing on Feb. 25 about the factors that led to sustained power outages across Texas. Texans look forward to hearing some answers. #txlege https://t.co/qwsHXlOGVK

The @potus is doubling down on his request for <U+201C>gas stations<U+201D> to <U+201C>take one for the team<U+201D>. A complete lack of understanding of how this industry (or any) operates. Margins are pennies per gallon. A 40+ year inflation crisis and this is his solution? Looking forward to November! https://t.co/cfi0xVvQj5

I’ve been on the phone all morning w/ agency heads from @PUCTX @TDEM @TxRRC & @ERCOT. As of this AM, they’ve assured me that oil & gas, electric generation & the grid are all operating as normal. If you lose power, contact your local provider as it may be due to trees/lines down.

The oil and gas industry is essential to the success of the Texas Economy. That<U+2019>s why I am standing against radical Democrats and the Biden Administration, who are attempting to destroy our oil and gas industry and pass the Green New Deal. #txlege https://t.co/zy73avE3xU
