After a careful review of the nominee, I am forced to conclude he would be regressive on issues impacting women<U+2019>s rights, labor issues, and climate change. I will be a 'no' on Judge LaSalle.
The NY State Senate just passed an Equal Rights Amendment to add sex as a protected category, including sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy or pregnancy outcomes. Proud to vote AYE to protect New Yorkers from this dangerous SCOTUS majority.
