I'm encouraged by @POTUS's comments urging states to prioritize teachers in their vaccine distribution efforts. We have a lot of work to do to bring back confidence to in-person learning, and that doesn’t happen by forcing districts to reopen, but by vaccinating teachers & staff.
As a former teacher, I recognize and value the importance of teaching about acts of genocide in an effort to stem bigotry and intolerance. The Genocide Education bill, that the House just passed, puts Massachusetts on a path to do exactly that. (1/2)
