No judge, let alone a Michigan Supreme Court Justice, should accept a gigantic campaign donation (82,500) from a defendant before them and then rule in favor of the defendant and then also write the majority brief!

When young, my father got pulled over and I recall a beautiful blue car behind us and a tall, perfectly erect officer in a beautifully tailored blue uniform approach the car. He addressed my parents in a very courteous, respectful manner. I asked my parents “what kind of officer was that?”They said “A Michigan state police trooper. They are among the very best departments in the entire United States”. Although the vast majority of MPS officers are still cut from that ethical trustworthy cloth, the head of the department’s culture has radically changed. The governor installed a group of Woke, despicable racists to run the department. They have lost lawsuit after lawsuit related to their despicable racism. Here’s an example of what the current officers are facing: On October 8th, 2019 Col. Gasper was reported to say “the MSP is ‘way too White and way too male’, and that if members were denied promotions for the sake of diversity they should think of the MSP first before themselves and knuckle under, i.e., take one for the team.” Could you just imagine being a white,male officer trying to do this dangerous, often thankless job, with this vile, sick culture of racism? The woke culture at the MPS is driving out good officers. I’ve heard from a great many who can’t wait to get out of this toxic workplace. Then, last week, at my press conference on the abuse of a woman by an MPS detective who has apparently been on the force for 27 years and received a slap on the wrist for sending graphic sexual material to this grieving widow he should’ve been supporting Now after MSP dropped the ball, it turns out more women have come out of the woodwork, alleging that they were similarly abused by him. This detective admitted his behavior. He should’ve been terminated back in 2020. My parents would be sickened seeing what Whitmer has done to this once fine department.

*Election law alert* Tomorrow, the House and Senate will vote on giving the Michigan Supreme Court a huge raise to 207,000 per year. That’s two raises back to back at 7% each to get that number. The Democrats, bringing up this vote, at this time, appears to me as nothing less than a reward for one of the biggest travesties of injustice ever in Michigan courts. Unbelievably, Joycelynn Benson gave $82,500 to Supreme Court Justice Kyra Bolden while this lawsuit against Benson was pending before the court! It was Bolden, who then wrote the majority opinion in favor of Benson and overturning all previous unanimous decisions against Benson, and in favor of O’Halloran. SOS Benson violated the law by writing a boatload of election rules that were directives to the clerks and put in the election manuals that were completely in opposition to what the law states and requires. The role of our courts is to interpret, not to make the laws! We now have Supreme Court members excepting campaign cash, in advance of a decision directly connected to the donor! This kangaroo court is the ultimate in partisanship; devoted to an overt partisan agenda, as opposed to lawfully interpreting the laws as required by their oath of office. I urge my colleagues to vote NO and reject this reward raise for any Supreme Court justices who flagrantly violate their oath of office, the constitution and the law. I urge you to call your legislator and tell them to vote Hell No. Lawbreakers do not deserve a reward raise! PS, Justice Zahara wrote a beautifully cogent, legally, precise, dissent against this travesty of justice.

What a great event with Donald Trump this afternoon in Grand Rapids! He spoke about meeting the family of murdered Officer Jonathan Diller, a married father of a 1-year-old boy, who was murdered by a career criminal thug, loosed on society by the Democrats, again and again, after one violent crime after another, allowed to prey on our citizens by the Democrats coddling criminals policies. He spoke about the Democrats red carpet policies which roll out engraved invitations to murderers, and rapist, and sleeper cells and terrorists and child traffickers to pour over the border back into the United States. The attending police officers spoke about the horrors of fentanyl pouring into the state of Michigan at a fraction of what they used to cost when Trump was in office. They talked about how the cartels now make the fentanyl look exactly like Xanax and Adderall pills and the kids take them and die instantly. Next time you see one of these Biden/Democrat voters, thank them for all of the hard work they have done to rip the border open and gush in murders and rapist and sex traffickers, and drug addiction, and death, and the absolute destruction of America unless Trump is elected.

Today, I delivered a direct broadside into the unethical behavior demonstrated by Michigan’s Supreme Court. Lansing needed to hear this 3 minute rebuke as almost the entire controlled media in Michigan has buried the story. A sitting Supreme Court Justice accepted over $80,000 from a litigant -SOS Jocelyn Benson-with a case before the court, ruled in favor of that litigant, and then, to add insult to injury, even authored the majority opinion! Only a few outlets—Midwest News, Justin Barclay, Lansing’s WLNS, and the Tom Jordan show covered my letter to the Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court. In that letter I called for an investigation into the judicial Canon requiring not even the appearance of impropriety.
