@spencernitz Pardon the pun, but it sometimes takes a little time for the water to reach the end of the row <U+2026> Many buildings are managed at the local level, so it may take time for those who manage local buildings to get the memo.

@Michell14833227 @SpencerJCox Working on it, but progress remains slow. Too easy to set it and forget it. But a couple of bills last session started to get at HOAs, cities, etc. and attitudes and practices are changing. We just need to keep after it.

@larsen1313 @SpencerJCox It's a big problem. We're working with cities, HOAs, etc. to get the message out, but all too many are still using automatic systems. Saw the same thing in my neighborhood after at least .25" of rain yesterday. The auto on my home system is off, however. Capitol is browning up.

@Kyu_Pete @SpencerJCox Thanks for doing your part! We changed state law recently to limit the ability of cities to stand in the way of water conservation and there have been moves to limit HOAs. Right now, however, those protections likely don<U+2019>t extend to a privately owned residence.

@5kl @SpencerJCox @NSAGov Certainly hope so. We need businesses and government to lead by example. Lawn at the Capitol has been looking a lot better (browner).

@TattedDaySaint Working on that one, Matt. Individual HOAs make that call, but I've been reaching out to the Utah HOA association, who's trying to get the word out to its members.
