@SenBradPfaff Things I'd rather be debating on the Senate Floor than this bogus bill that won't become law: Bring us back into the Special Session to take up @GovEvers proposal on fixing our broken Unemployment System. @senator_melissa what about you?
@lkwhite @jimsteineke @GovEvers Great to hear the Do Nothing GOP Legislature will FINALLY convene session to pass legislation to help people w/ their unemployment compensation. Only 3 GOP session days a year is embarassing! Sad WI lost $25 million in fed funds due to GOP inaction. Time to help folks out now! ="
Wisconsinites have been forced to spend all of their savings and still are facing eviction. Others have been denied benefits due to unnecessary restrictions. The Unemployment Insurance Relief Package will speed up the process and make it accessible for people who need help now. https://t.co/cwfYrh6CoZ
@Sam_Wunderle The Do Nothing GOP Legislature met 3 days in a year-get to work 100+bipartisan bills passed by the Assembly wont be voted on. Plus the GOP must pass COVID-19 plan (they repealed Safe-At-Home & never replaced) & bill to help workers w/their UC benefits. GOP screwed it all up! ="
These requirements are contradictory to the SSAs Ticket to Work Program, which seeks to help individuals receiving SSDI return to work gradually. Those trying to get back on their feet deserve the same help as everyone else during this crisis. https://t.co/PmH6BK2lGF
After months of demanding changes and a quicker response from the DWD to the needs of those who have lost their job through no fault of their own, the GOP led WI Legislature denied the call from the Gov to take actions that will create better results for the people of Wisconsin. https://t.co/D7Z3cUBjTI
@WisconsinFix So youre happy I was beat upkarma? Thats so sad & sick! =O< I have 98% lifetime voting record for workers. I opposed GOPs 1 week wait/red tape to make UC harder causing long delays & GOP worked to lower benefits paid. GOP refused to fix 1970s UC computer system w/2014 audit.
We still haven't answered the Governor's call to fix the broken Unemployment System, but these legislators want to give themselves a tax break. https://t.co/YGBn5CatHZ
