The Wash. House just passed my Worker Protection Act. The bill allows workers to enforce their rights directly to make sure they get paid the wages they’re owed & can work safely and free from discrimination. This is a huge deal!! On to Wash. Senate!!

You should have seen the Hansen kids' eyes pop out of their heads when I told them that apprentices in HVAC/Refrigeration at the Seattle Area Pipe Trades start at $33/hour (!), get paid from their first hour in training (!!), get full medical for family and pension (!!!)<U+2026>
