Thank you to all the witnesses who testified before the Arkansas House Judiciary Committee against Senate Bill 24, the Stand Your Ground Law. The bill did not pass out of the committee and I believe it was because of your compassionate testimony. Thank you!

Hearts are saddened in Pine Bluff with the shooting death of Pine Bluff Police Detective Kevin Collins. A fine young man, who served our community with devotion. May God bless his soul, and his family.

In my family Bible inscribed, "Died July, 1883 in Howard County Riot. He was killed by unknown persons and ears cut off for souvenirs" How vicious is that?
