We’ve heard complaints on redistricting committee that our 10 city tour w only 1 virtual option on Oct 4 isn’t enough virtual. So, we’re adding another virtual option next Tues, Sept 28 at 4:30. Hope to hear from you. https://t.co/fXxbZgOlnU
@doug_ruff @henrymcmaster @garyclarysc I am too. Its a concern for me ... Already done: Nearly all utilities have said they will defer payments. Courts are closed, thus no evictions or foreclosures. Free food to anyone under 18 at grab n go sites. Last night, apparently Feds reached a deal to send checks.
1/ Why are so many people moving to Easley? Tonight, I door knocked in a new, 90 unit subdivision. It took me a little over 2 hours. There are around 150 adults. Only 3 voted in last year<U+2019>s primary. This was not a campaign door knock. This was to introduce myself, listen to <U+2026>

Just 50 yrs ago, the 1970 census found SC 1st in outhouses at 149,300 homes. This led to Gov John West<U+2019>s <U+201C>John<U+2019>s John<U+2019>s<U+201D> Project. We<U+2019>ve made progress. But more to do. My hope is a legislator in 2070 reads about our current life w the same disbelief as I just did to 1970. https://t.co/sdFwYR78LK
Little known fact - one doesnt become a certified legislator or lobbyist until one experiences a 3.5 hour debate over electronic notarization & land surveys under 5 acres ... congrats to a roomful today. https://t.co/j8wMe80G4m
Rural/urban divide in America. I wish I had the skills to show. SC would have a similar looking graphic. https://t.co/OvlzL50vkY
