Applications for the Small Landlord Emergency Grant Program reopened Monday for landlords of small properties whose tenants have missed out on rent payments due to COVID 19.
To apply, the NJ landlords must be registered with the states Department of Community Affairs Bureau of Housing Inspection, own a property with 3 to 30 rental units, and have at least one rental unit impacted by COVID -19.
Applications can be found at the DCA s website and remain open until October 13 at 4pm. Landlords who receive grants must forgive back rent.
