The MA House of Representatives passed a bill this week to further support our restaurants during this pandemic. The bill allows restaurants to sell mixed drinks to-go, waives interest on meals taxes, caps delivery fees, & facilitates outdoor dining. https://t.co/xFjd2ebrPS
The 3rd bill (HD.5103) facilitates outdoor dining at restaurants by authorizing cities & towns to allow outdoor liquor service at restaurants. This ensures restaurants can utilize their outdoor seating & meet customers needs while following distancing protocols. (4/4)

The bill builds on previous actions by the House to establish a Restaurant Recovery Commission & allow restaurants to sell unopened liquor to-go. These initiatives financially support our restaurants while expanding options for consumers. This bill now goes to the Senate.
