WV has <U+201C>free<U+201D> electric car charging stations at some of our state parks. It<U+2019>s actually *state subsidized* charging stations. I<U+2019>m introducing a bill so these drivers pay the market rate. I<U+2019>m all for alternative energy. However, the taxpayers shouldn<U+2019>t subsidize it. #wvpol
Not the correct position. In fact, the only way to fix the energy crisis is to get government out of the way. If renewables will reduce costs, that<U+2019>s great! But the government picking winners and losers only leads to higher prices. https://t.co/fdVDEuEIdf
In the middle of a crisis with gas prices Biden is invoking emergency powers through the Defense Production Act to increase production<U+2026>solar panels? I keep thinking he can<U+2019>t surprise me anymore, but he does. Can you imagine being this out of touch? https://t.co/k4hXMZmKe4
An argument can be made gas price increases because of Ukraine cannot be attributed to the Biden Administration. However, had Biden continued many Trump policies then gas prices now would be MUCH lower now. Make no mistake, Joe Biden has been a disaster! Gas prices are HIS fault!
@Blueridgewv I agree. That being said let renewables compete with everything else on an even playing field without subsidies. That<U+2019>s the great thing about a true free market: we don<U+2019>t have to make the call on what does and doesn<U+2019>t work. The market will decide.
@Blueridgewv And we both know what would happen: without the subsidy these renewables couldn<U+2019>t survive.
@AmericanYouthf1 @TinaRussell309 @JoAnnaV63878410 @pushkinforhouse @kaylayoungforwv @DakotaBuckleyWV @RustyforHouse @ThompsonWVHouse @RyanDeems89 I believe you<U+2019>ve mistaken me for a different <U+201C>Pritt.<U+201D> Perhaps the Pritt running in Fayette? While I appreciate any endorsement, I <U+2764><U+FE0F> beautiful, clean coal. I support an <U+201C>all of the above<U+201D> approach to energy. Let<U+2019>s work together to end subsidies for wind and solar!

@GoVegan09560204 No one forced him to say <U+201C>yes.<U+201D> His intentions were made clear. Inflation is out of control and it<U+2019>s on him and his administration. The attack on our American energy must stop.
