I'm filled with joyful, exhausted gratitude. This bill was a joint effort, and I had the best team around. My co-authors, esp @SenClareOumou and @epmurphymn, my staff, our research and nonpartisan team, and my partner every step of the way, @zackstephenson. Thank you. <U+0001F49A> https://t.co/EtJKAYvpcu

After getting some sleep and recovering from the 15 hour debate to pass the PRO Act, I have many thanks and a few thoughts to share. First, thank you to the voters and activists and coalition partners who helped make this priority a reality. https://t.co/qInP5E8syQ
With 35 votes in the Minnesota Senate, 55,000 Minnesotans have had their votes restored. One of my proudest votes in this legislature. #RestoreTheVoteMN https://t.co/1dvyLyj7DU
Recognizing the results of free and fair elections does not have majority support in the Minnesota Senate. 34 senators just voted against upholding the results of local elections in MN. We cannot normalize a party overturning elections when they don't like the outcome. https://t.co/sZSvBA6PBT
I just can't stress enough how great of a Secretary of State we have in @MNSteveSimon. Like, really, the best.
I can<U+2019>t believe I have to say this but creating a private members only club at the state capital is a bad idea. That<U+2019>s why I<U+2019>m working on a bill to ban it in the 2022 session. https://t.co/12ByAy3QSv
RT @MNSteveSimon: It’s never too late to tell the truth: The 2020 election was fundamentally fair, honest, accurate, and secure. https://t.…
The MN Senate has an obligation to advise and consent on the appointments of the Governor. It's an abuse of power to hold those confirmations for multiple years only to bring them up to push people out when they make decisions one party doesn't like.
Thank you to @ProChoiceMN for honoring me with the Legislator of the Year award, and for recognizing that our work was a team effort. Shout out to my senate sisters who led the work! @DrAliceMann @ErinMayeQuade @Morrison4MN https://t.co/WJqnrcJQ4k
We achieved our goals, the most transformative legislative session, TOGETHER. This session wasn't just about the legislators in the room (though it matters who those are) but about the power of the people that sent us there and made their voices heard. https://t.co/kv2UuJXLbv
