Today began with 46,000 CenterPoint customers still without power (down from 1.3 million this time yesterday). Now they are down to 27,000. Mostly, it’s a question of repairing weather-related equipment damage. Up to date info can be found at https://t.co/czYuUIHfnO
CenterPoint says the peak demand for electricity this morning is from 8-10 am, so a few hours more before we are out of the woods. 4,400 homes are still without power in the Houston area and linemen will work until they are back on.
