Another great win today! This time on a Biden-era staffing rule for nursing homes that would have almost certainly put many out of business in Nebraska. That rule has now been enjoined.

Another win by the hard-working professionals in the Medicaid Fraud Bureau! Medicaid is designed to help the less fortunate--not to line the pockets of bad actors working to abuse the system. Our team works to uncover the fraud and hold those bad actors accountable. I really appreciate their great work on behalf of taxpayers and the state!
Thankful for all the work that our drug abuse prevention teams do in Nebraska! Great conversation today on synthetic thc and what we can do to prevent harms to Nebraskans. Great to be in Scottsbluff yesterday! I really appreciate all of our behavioral health teammates. One of the most difficult - but critical - jobs is dealing with the causes and fallout of our mental health crisis. Yesterday we talked about synthetic delta 8, and how it has caused so much damage in the state, including mental health breakdowns. (There also was a recent death which appears to have been caused by these substances.) From the medical professionals to the law enforcement officials on the front lines tackling behavioral health issues in Nebraska - thank you!
