@Upstate_Life @angelavixii Might have something to do with the fact that we had, I dunno, 40 years of precedent, and Roe being settled law and a right set by SCOTUS until that was broken by 3 Supreme Court justices who at one point said that “Roe was the law of the land”. Our party was rightfully focused… https://t.co/PgD335zFDe

@forked_queer @Upstate_Life @angelavixii Didn’t warrant attention 😂😂😂😂. Spoken like someone who never watched a SCOTUS nominee get grilled and blocked (See the term Borked). We prevented SCOTUS’ composition from reaching this point for 40 years until McConnell decided to break with Senate traditions and bucked… https://t.co/J0s34TE4rW
@forked_queer @Upstate_Life @angelavixii We had an effective defense. Establishing upholding Roe as the litmus test for getting on SCOTUS and other major circuits . Do your own research. Google is free. https://t.co/1qN52ZAZEk
@forked_queer @Upstate_Life @angelavixii That’s not even remotely what I’ve said. All of these efforts were concurrent and effective. I don’t have the time, desire, or obligation to do the work for you. We are now onto the next set of strategies for codifying and re-establishing Roe. Throwing our hands up and… https://t.co/Skh84DAMrO
@forked_queer @Upstate_Life @angelavixii The suggestion wasn’t that it was impervious which is what you are implying I’ve suggested I’ve defense of Roe was highly effective as it stood for 4 decades. It was hard fought. We’ve had SCOTUS decisions in our history reversed in far less time than Roe. Never before had a… https://t.co/qfLy2W6ZRr
@forked_queer @Upstate_Life @angelavixii Deal!
Tonight at @PlanetFitness in Salem, a hateful man decided to call one of my fellow gym goers a racial slur aimed at dehumanizing Latinos. Fortunately, I was in the locker room and heard the racial harassment, and was able to both step in and alert PF staff about this man’s racist behavior . Absolutely deplorable behavior.
Might have something to do with the fact that we had, I dunno, 40 years of precedent, and Roe being settled law and a right set by SCOTUS until that was broken by 3 Supreme Court justices who at one point said that “Roe was the law of the land”. Our party was rightfully focused on defending the established right in courts, and putting forward the rest of our agenda for the American people. You can ignore that context of Roe being settled law and SCOTUS established right [like interracial marriage (SCOTUS), desegregation of schools (SCOTUS), etc.]. I don’t have to engage with your misleading graphic. The moment Roe was struck down, Democrats around the country went to work to codify it because the moment necessitated it.
@TomiLahren Isn’t that what you do every day for work on the platform @elonmusk owns? What happened to freedom of speech?
The political system is broken because of self serving national candidates such as yourself who played an instrumental role in delivering a Trump Presidency. The Trump Administration eroded public institutions, led to the end of ROE, weakened affirmative action, and I hold you personally responsible @DrJillStein Please consider the harm your candidacy will do the same historically marginalized communities you have already deeply wounded.
