I’m with you. She was already committing to meeting with leaders of the Michigan Uncommitted movement. From organizing perspective this was not strategic and did nothing to further aims towards long term peace in the region. It is disrespectful, and particularly offensive when we consider the targets intersectional identities and role. She’s literally is in a race with someone who intends to dehumanize and eradicate entire segments of the Muslim world, and they would never show up at his events and engage in this way. This wasn’t it.
